Wollaton Hall and Deer Park is located in Wollaton, three miles out of Nottingham city centre. The Hall is a magnificent Tudor mansion designed by Robert Smythson and was built in 1588 for Sir Frances Willoughby. The hall is one of the finest Elizabethan houses in England and is home to Nottingham's natural history collection. It is now owned by Nottingham City Council and has recently been restored as part conservation project.
This wonderful Hall is a popular function venue. It hosts two magnificent rooms available to hire in the evenings, the Great Hall, the Willoughby room.
